Burnout is physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion that results from chronic, unmanaged stress. The negative consequences include energy depletion, feeling mentally distanced from one’s job, and feeling less able to meet work demands. In the workplace, burnout leads to lost productivity, decreased energy and concentration, increased conflict, repeated illness, and leaves of absence. It also affects relationships and quality of life both personally and professionally.

  • Learn the factors that create burnout in the workplace and how they practically play out in an organization.

  • Learn how to identify potential burnout warning signs early in employees to prevent burnout and foster wellness for greater productivity and longevity.

  • Learn how to identify the six stages of burnout personally in order to provide essential resources for employees.

  • Learn how to create effective conversations with employees and provide crucial strategies and practical solutions.

I learned how to recognize the signs of burnout with myself and within my team. I downloaded the burnout assessment tool and am excited to use it with my team. It is great for opening communication on specific topics rather than just asking how everyone is doing.
