Bonita Eby, Founder & CEO

Bonita is a Burnout Prevention and Organizational Culture Consultant and the founder of Breakthrough.

Her work is grounded in over 25 years of experience across healthcare, leadership development, and organizational consulting. Early in her career, she worked in healthcare supporting individuals recovering from traumatic injuries as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. That experience shaped how she understands stress, trauma, and recovery, both individually and organizationally.

After experiencing burnout and compassion fatigue in a demanding not-for-profit leadership and crisis response role, she began researching burnout, compassion fatigue, and resilience at the individual and organizational levels. That lived experience became the foundation of her work today. Bonita has dedicated the last decade to translating research into practical, sustainable workplace solutions to support leaders, teams, and mission.

Samantha Adams, Consultant & Learning Facilitator

Samantha brings extensive experience in leadership development and training, with exceptional experience within nonprofit and community service environments.

Samantha has 15 years of experience coaching, training, building cohesive teams, fostering creativity, and developing innovative courses in the nonprofit sector. Her background training in healthy boundaries, First Aid & CPR, Psychological First Aid, non-violent crisis intervention, and well-being enables her to engage with organizations to achieve long-term results.

She is known for her approachable, grounded facilitation style and her ability to translate complex ideas into practical strategies teams can use immediately and long into the future. She is here to help you and your team thrive.
