Client Testimonials:

“Our team recently had the opportunity to learn about our Enneagram types – nine personality types based on core motivations. By sharing our preferred communication styles, what motivates and energizes us and how we behave under stress, we deepened our understanding of each other and unlocked new ways of working together as a team. We look forward to applying our insights and would like to thank Bonita Eby for guiding us through another impactful team-building workshop!”

Cynthia Goodwin, CEO, CCGoodwin Consulting

“I found the training day useful for understanding how to communicate effectively with the other staff, and also to have a greater awareness of my own personality and strengths/weakness. I can honestly say it gave me a greater respect for my co-workers and the unique gifts they all bring to this team. I am truly blessed to work alongside each of them.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Enneagram?

The Enneagram is a personality-development framework that describes nine distinct ways of seeing the world, responding to stress, communicating, and relating to others. It helps team members understand the motivations behind their behaviour—not simply what they do, but why they do it.

How can the Enneagram help our team?

The Enneagram gives teams a shared, practical language for understanding differences. It can help team members:

  • Communicate more effectively.

  • Navigate conflict with greater awareness.

  • Recognize individual strengths and stress responses.

  • Reduce misunderstandings and unhelpful assumptions.

  • Build trust, empathy, and psychological safety.

  • Work together more effectively.

Is the Enneagram a personality test?

The Enneagram is more than a personality test. Assessments can help identify a person’s type, but the real value comes from understanding the underlying motivations, patterns, strengths, and growth opportunities associated with each type. Our process combines assessment results with reflection, team collaboration and practical application.

What if someone’s two assessments give different results?

That’s completely okay. Although the results often align, an assessment cannot determine someone’s Enneagram type with absolute certainty. When results differ, we provide additional guidance to help the participant explore the most likely possibilities and identify the type that best reflects their long-term motivations and patterns.

Could the Enneagram lead to labelling or stereotyping?

It should never be used to put people into boxes, excuse behaviour, or predict what someone will do. We train participants to use the Enneagram as a tool for self-awareness, team building and growth. Each person is more complex than their Enneagram type, and we establish psychological safety in our workshops.

Is an Enneagram workshop appropriate for teams experiencing conflict?

Yes. The Enneagram can help team members better understand the perspectives, motivations, and stress responses contributing to tension. However, it is not a substitute for mediation when significant, unresolved issues persist.

Do team members need previous Enneagram experience?

No. Workshops can be designed for teams that are completely new to the Enneagram or adapted for participants who already have some experience with it. We explain concepts clearly and connect them to practical workplace situations.

Can the workshop be customized for our organization?

Yes. We tailor the workshop to your team’s goals, challenges, and workplace context. Depending on your priorities, the session may focus on communication, collaboration, conflict, leadership, trust, stress responses, or team effectiveness.

Are workshops available virtually and in person?

Workshops may be delivered virtually or in person, depending on your organization’s location, needs, and the format selected. We will help you choose the option that will provide the best experience for your team.

How long is an Enneagram workshop?

Workshop length depends on your goals, team size, and the depth of learning you would like to achieve. Options can range from an introductory session to a more comprehensive team-development experience. We will recommend a format after learning more about your team. Sessions typically begin with a 3-hour session.

What happens before the workshop?

Participants receive clear instructions for completing their Enneagram assessments and required pre-workshop preparation. We review the assessment results and prepare the team map and analysis needed for your workshop.

Is coaching available after the workshop?

Yes. Individual or small-group coaching can be added to help participants explore their Enneagram patterns more deeply and apply what they have learned. Coaching can support personal development, leadership growth, communication, stress management, and healthier working relationships.

What does an Enneagram workshop cost?

Fees depend on factors such as the number of participants, workshop length, assessments, customization, delivery format, and any coaching or follow-up support you select. Contact us to discuss your goals and receive a tailored recommendation and proposal.

How do we get started?

Begin by scheduling a complimentary consultation. We’ll learn about your team, discuss your goals, and recommend an approach that fits your organization. There is no obligation; it’s simply an opportunity to explore whether an Enneagram workshop is right for your team.
